About the club

We are Taekwondo Machine, a local 'Olympic' (World Taekwondo) style club. Our lead instructor, Danyal, founded Taekwondo Machine over 10 years ago, offering taekwondo sessions in the local Manchester community.

Our club welcomes all members of the community regardless of ability and have classes to suit all (children, adults, families). Click here to see more information about our classes.

Our achievements: 

• Taekwondo Machine was a "Club of the Year" finalist for the Manchester Sports Awards 2022 and 2023. 

• Elaine, our committee member, was voted as "Person of the Year" in the Manchester Sports Awards 202. 

• Courtney, our assistant coach, recently accepted a position on the GB Taekwondo World Class Performance Programme. Courtney started as a white belt with Taekwondo Machine many years ago. 

• Launched 'family sessions' so that parents and children can train at the same time. 

• Launched 'quiet hour' sessions for SEN members.
